From the Children's Pastor

Wow, what a summer!! We’ve had a great time learning about God’s deep love for us this summer and we’ve had a blast doing it! We just finished up “Sailing the C’s” and have begun our new series called “The Plane Truth.” This series takes our kids on their own spiritual journey as we learn the “Plane Truths” about living a Christian life. We’ll do this by walking with Moses on his journey and seeing how God Himself directed Moses and He directs each of us today !

Summer Spectacular was a big hit, I think the swim parties and the water games were everyone’s favorite! For me, launching those water balloons down the street was particularly memorable. And a big thank you to our many Shipmates and Captains who made our Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything Vacation Bible School such a huge success. Fun was had by all as we learned that true heroes for God know that God is with them, they do the right thing, they know that God can make them a hero, they reach out to God and share God with others! It was a wonderful week and I can’t wait till next summer!

Please continue to pray for our children and their families. God wants to be in relation with each one of us, young and old alike.
