We've set sail along the "Cs' and it's been great.
Our kids have learned the "C" of Character-doing what is right when no one else is watching.
The "C" of Competence-we are all given abilities from God and are to use these gifts to serve Him and others.
In the weeks to come we will sail the "C" of Chemistry, Calling, Courage, Compassion, Commitment and Celebration.
I encourage you to ask your kids about these "Cs' and then catch them when they're applying these Godly principles to their life.
Praising our kids when they do the right thing goes much farther then scolding them when they don't.
We all like to be acknowledged when we do well so let's catch them in the act of doing what is good and right and then let them know we've noticed and that we're proud of them.
