Nursery (Age 0-2)
New Life Kids! offers great, interactive lessons for our littlest ones. Your child will enjoy plenty of play time with toys that have been specially chosen to stimulate their young and curious minds. Each week their leader brings a Bible story to the kids, where they hear, see and touch the pictures as the story is told to them in a way that only a New Life Kids! leader can do. They have fun singing and dancing to songs that reinforce the lesson of the week and then get to see the lesson again on a wonderful video that was created for kids just their age. It's never too early to let our kids know that God created them, that He loves them and that their New Life family loves them too!
Meet some of our Teachers
Rachel
Rachel has been at New Life since 2000. She is one of Leaders in our Nursery and loves sharing the Good News with them! She also serves as a greeter, so you may see her at our Yes Table and helps organize supplies for the children’s lessons each week.
Rachel has lived in Martinez for 23 years and has raised two wonderful daughters, Marina and Alison, whom are in college. Her free time is spent growing to know the Lord more each day, being with family, friends and enjoying her home.
Tiffany
Tiffany serves in the New Life Kids! nursery. Her arms are a favorite destination for our littlest ones. Tiffany has been working with children her entire life, being the oldest of five in her family and a much in-demand babysitter for many years. She has recently assumed a leadership role among the nursery staff. Tiffany lives with her family in Clayton, and works in Lafayette. She's a hard worker with a degree in Architecture from UC Berkeley. Still, she claims her favorite movie is The Little Mermaid and her favorite place is Disneyland. She's a perfect fit with our kids!
Pam
Pamela has been a member of New Life for 18+ years. Pamela loves children and lovingly serves our littlest ones in the nursery. Even when she’s not in the nursery, Pamela usually has a baby in her arms! God has blessed her with a beautiful daughter, who is now a teenager. She’s a native of Florida (and visits as often as she can) but has called Pleasant Hill home for over 25 years.
Pamela works for an insurance brokerage firm in the workers’ compensation area. In her spare time, she’s an avid reader and movie buff. She loves to dance and also loves church worship because she can sing without being detected.
Heather
Heather sings with our worship team and has a little one herself.
Jen
Jen and her husband have been a part of New Life since 2008
