Introduction for Parents to the Children's Ministry

I'm Sharon Wood, Director of Children's Ministry (birth through six grade,) here at New Life Christian Fellowship. New Life Kids! is a wonderful program that brings Bible truths to your children in a way that they will both love and remember. In fact, it's our goal that New Life is so engaging that your kids are actually dragging you out of bed on Sunday mornings not wanting to be late for church!!

When you arrive at New Life, bring your kids on into the main service for a great time of worship and the ever loved Blue Box! Each Sunday our kids come up front during church where they can see and hear a lesson that's just for them. All kinds of interesting items are pulled from our Blue Box each week to teach our kids (and adults too,) just how much they are loved by God and given truths from the Bible that they can count on every day. After Blue Box the kids are dismissed to their classes where they will go with pre-screened leaders to their class for a fun, exciting and meaningful time of learning and growing in Christ. At New Life Kids! we know that kids can become mighty followers of Jesus at a young age and we will work with every family to lay down a spiritual foundation for their kids that they can build their lives on.

Once in class, your child will be taught and cared for by a leader who loves the Lord and is excited and honored to tell them about Jesus Christ. Leaders who strive to make the Bible come alive for your kids and then send them home with tangible ways to put God's word into action. Leaders who know that kids learn when they are engaged and having fun. Leaders who are passionate about leading children to Christ and growing them spiritually. Leaders who know that the message never changes, but who are always seeking creative new ways in which to deliver that life saving message to our kids today in a way that they will hear and understand.

New Life Kids! is all about winning kids to Christ and growing them spiritually and we do this in a safe, fun, hands-on environment created just for kids.
